Hello! Thanks for visiting my website.

I am a research economist in the Development Research Group of the World Bank. I will spend the academic year 2025-2026 with the Research Program in Development Economics at Princeton University. I obtained my PhD from the department of Agriculture and Resource Economics at University of California Berkeley in 2025.

My research focuses on energy access, grid reliability, consumer behavior in energy markets, large-scale infrastructure in energy and agriculture in Sub-Saharan Africa. I use high-frequency micro-data and empirical methods grounded in economic theory in my research.

I have been a part-time lecturer at the Unité de Formation et de Recherche - Sciences Economiques et de Gestion at Université Gaston Berger de Saint-Louis in Senegal since 2021 and have taught various applied econometric classes there.
